The George Inn & Court House Restoration Company Ltd

This is a “not for profit” company limited by guarantee created to enable us to raise the funds to hire the necessary experts and professionals to help develop our plans.  The company has members rather than shareholders and we are looking for as many members as possible, for a fee of £100, as well as any further loan contributions that people may wish to make. • Christopher Garrand BSc BArch GradDipCons(AA) RIBA AABC IHBC who is an Architectural and Heritage Consultant with nearly 35 years of experience;
• Clive Dawson | Eng. A M | Struct E, a Structural Engineer with 25 years’ experience dealing with Historic and Sensitive Buildings;
• Trevor Groom FRICS, a Quantity Surveyor with 42 years’ experience in providing a full range of services on buildings including 8 World Heritage Sites;
• Julia Holberry BA Hons in Ancient History and Archaeology, who is an expert in dealing with Heritage Lottery Fund Grant Applications;
• Jeff Bell, a Publican and Industry expert;
Derek Horne MRTip, a Planning Consultant with in excess of 48 years’ experience including 21 years’ working in Local Authorities and 27 years’ in private practice.
We have also sought the independent advice of:
• Malcolm Kidby BSc (Hons) MRICS, a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Business Valuer who oversees the Licensed and Leisure divisions of Pinders, undertaking and supervising the preparation of business appraisal and valuation reports on a wide variety of businesses, including Public Houses.
